Our Financial Director, Elliott Ross, once again braved the elements to attempt the 4 Peaks Challenge, organised by The Wooden Spoon Society to support mentally and physically disadvantaged children through charity funded capital based projects.
Elliott was part of one of the 2 teams from Alton Rugby Football Club that were competing in the challenge. Each team consisted of 3 climbers and a driver, and they set out to conquer 4 of the highest peaks in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland and the 1,000 miles in between.
A huge amount of training, a grueling schedule and a whole lot of determination saw Elliot successfully climb the equivalent of half of Everest in just under 48 hours! It goes without saying that we are all very proud of his achievements and we look forward to following his success again next year!
